Forest Gate City Learning Centre Cisco Networking Academy has been running since the year 2000 and has invited students from schools Newham to train up as skilled PC Technicians and Network Engineers; in fact some of our students have become IT Managers and Engineers for well know IT firms.
Forest Gate City Learning Centre is also involved in 14-19
Diplomas including the Newham additional Diploma (NAP) pilot. The IT
diplomas can include the Comptia A+ and Cisco's CCNA certification. Cisco
and Comptia qualifications can also be integrated into other qualifications
such as a university degree.
The Cisco Networking Academy Program is a comprehensive e-learning program that provides students with the Internet technology skills essential in a global economy. The Networking Academy delivers web-based content, online assessment, student performance tracking, hands-on labs, instructor training and support, and preparation for industry standard certifications.

Cisco Certified Network Associate
The Cisco CCNAŽ Discovery curriculum provides foundational networking knowledge, practical experience, opportunities for career exploration, and soft-skills development to help students prepare for entry-level careers in IT and networking.
The curriculum offers a hands-on approach to learning, and uses interactive tools and easy-to-follow labs to help students learn the general theory needed to build networks.
The Cisco CCNAŽ Exploration curriculum provides a comprehensive overview of networking; from fundamentals to advanced applications and services. It is based on a top-down approach to networking that is popular in many colleges and universities.
This course emphasizes theoretical concepts and practical application, while providing opportunities for students to gain the skills and hands-on experience needed to design, install, operate, and maintain networks in small-to-medium businesses, as well as enterprise and service provider environments.
CompTIA
A+ Certification
The CompTIA A+ certification is the industry standard for validating vendor-neutral skills expected of an entry-level computer technician.
Those holding the A+ certification have a broad base of knowledge and competency in core hardware and operating system technologies including installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and basic networking.
