Welcome to the Forest Gate City Learning Centre - Newham's City Learning Centre.
Established in 2000 as part of the Domex and EIC Initiatives, FGCLC is based at Forest Gate Community School situated in the Forest Gate area to the north of the London Borough of Newham.
Benefiting from state of the art facilities and equipment Forest Gate CLC works closely with the other 100+ CLCs and other organisations throughout England to share ideas, expertise and experience in the use of ICT within education.
Additionally, FGCLC is encouraging the use by teachers to learn, practice, and prepare materials, try out software, produce materials to be used within lessons using ICT and to have access to the latest equipment, facilities and expertise.
There are expert classes on how to integrate ICT into a mixture of lessons and in a variety of ways to encourage good practice.
